West Bromwich Albion

Ah that's all right then.

I am trying to find out about a trophy called the West Bromwich Albion Shield that was played for by amateur teams

in the local area. The final tie was apparently played at the Albion ground, presumably they sponsored the trophy.

Anyone ever heard of this or could point me in the right direction?

Slightly off-topic badpenny, and not wishing to start any arguments, but they do seem to be the only ones doing any good at the moment!
