Click here to see a larger version.

This plaque is located on the lower-tier of the catacombs, on the right side. We are not sure of the numbering in this area.

The plaque commenorates:
Martha (wife of Thomas Harrison), died ??? age 40
Thomas Harrison (relict), Jan 2nd 1867 in t47th year
Thomas Harrison Cox (grandson) born Oct 20th ?? Died March ??
Edward Cox (father of Thomas Harrison Cox) d Nov 3rd 1876, aged 52
Harriet Harrison (wife of Albert Harrison)
Albert Harrison

The inscriptions are not clear. I need to return to the cemetery to try to work them out close up.

There is another Harrison plaque on the next catacomb entrance. It is not clear if this is the same family or not, so they will have a separate thread.

If you have additional information on this family, please add it to thread. It will helpo us understand more about the families who are commemorated on the plaques on the catacombs

Looking closely at the enlarged picture, I think Martha died 1853 (or poss 1833)
And harriet died 1920 and Albert 1927 . See neg version attached

An Albert & Harriet Harrison were at 127 Farm st on the electoral roll in 1920 , but had gone by 1922

If it is 1853 that Martha died, then there is a thomas and Martha Harrison (both 59) at no 1 Elmfield palce in the 1851 census. He is a "Fundholder", and they are with a daughter Emily

Just reposting the catacomb image to this thread.
Mike, could it be 1855? There's a Birmingham death in Q4 of 1855. She was 40 when she died, so I don't think that Elmfield Place can be right Martha.
