many thanks to answers on parish records to evryone who replied.
Next question.
My grandfather served in the army during WW1, he didnt leave the army until 1927. I have his discharge papers with regiment numbers on.
How do i find out his service records, he is listed with some info on ancestry but not the full history. Im sure about 10 years ago we found out hed served all over the place but cant find this information today.
Where can i look for it:)

Do you have his records from Ancestry ?
Put his details on here, name, age, regiment and number and will see what we can find
