Ada 7
Flora 3
George 2
Lily 6 months.
all born birmingham except Marina who was born in Nailsea somerset.
George Morton married Marina Noble in 1866 Aston
to verify that this is the family of THE William Henry Morton it would be a good idea to get the marriage certificate of William morton/Ada Clayton, it will have his fathers name.
Do these names fit in with your family.

aGAIN MANY THANKS KIM

I have sifted through records and census and can find no connection between your Mortons who originate from Ireland and the family of
Sonny Morton.
The reason that Edwin one of the younger children is in Salford is because his sister Edith married a william hill from Salford and Edwin went to live with them.
sister Gertrude is in an orphange in Salford in 1901.

thanks alberta
that information i have i am trying to put together why they went to salford i have old letters and postcards from i believe from family to my gt grandmother, edith met william in salford and was living there before they met that is why i think they were with extended family, i must admitted a little confused with gertrude in an orphange its quite a strange lot
