Hiya,I will have a look and post what I can find for you.Hi keegs, got any more info on that very early era? My great grandad played in the 1913 cup final for Villa against Sunderland at Crystal Palace in front of a crowd of 122,000. My cousin still has his cup final medal. His name was Tommy Lyons. My moms family all out of Hednesford produced a few professional footballets. My grandad played for Villa (Bill Lyons), his brothers Jim for Derby and Albert for Spurs. They all played for Hednesford Town as well

That is a great story.Great picture Keegs. My family are related to Harry Hampton by marriage. I only found this out because I have a photo of my mums brother sitting in the garden at the family home in Ladywood with a group of people I did not recognise. I sent the photo to pomgolian in NZ (who is related to me) to ask if she recognised anyone and she identified one as Harry Hampton - Knowing we are blues fans Pom jokingly said I am sorry to tell you this but that is Harry Hampton. However I didn't mind as he also played for Blues and England. I think the photo was taken in the 1930's so he was no longer playing by then.
