I thought it was the 5 tram? At the terminus I used to like to flip the seat backs as it changed direction.I used the tram No 6 going down Villa Road from the terminus at Soho Road in the 40s! Country Life was a magazine - I have pages copied from it by my granddad, showing Soho House way back

Is that where Bywaters(sp) used to be?The photo shows Tom Lambert, poulterer, at 67 Villa road (shown in red on 1912 map , not to be confused with Thomas Lambert , greengrocer, at 129 Villa Road. It seems not to be open, so perhaps taken on a Sunday, though it must have been shortly after the original opening of the shop, as it did not exist in 1895
