West Bromwich born on 1st October 1874 , Albert arrived at Villa Park in 1898 from the Oldbury and Walsall route. He quickly established a place in the side
to gain International recognition for England on five occasions 1901-1902. His form declined in 1904 and moved to Fulham during 1906. His career ended in
1909 in order to establish a successful photographer's business in the Midlands area ( should be someone reading this who has a snap from his
studios) A setback involving a fire did not stop Albert building his reputation
especially in the West Bromwich area. Elected as a Villa director in 1934 the position was curtailed by his death on the 9th December 1936 Link up soon WAK
