My Uncle Albert Milton was the co-owner of a chain of View-Well TV rental stores from the mid-1950s to the mid 1960s in working class High Streets in Birmingham, Dudley Road for example. I believe he sold them to Rediffusion. Would anyone have any information? Many thanks, John Milton

A few press cuttings. In 1969 he'd moved into supplying Hoovers.I think Belgrave Road was in Balsall Heath. The name View-Well was being used in the 1970s in the Wolverhampton, Walsall, Cannock, Sedgley, Lye, Kingswinford, Halesowen areas, but presumably not your family by that time.
