Veteran Car Rally at Nat Memorial Arboretum

Old Boy

Hi All,

My wife and I paid a visit to the National Memorial Arboretum today. We live reasonably near and go quite often. We found that there was a veteran car rally in progress and , as I know a few of you good folk are interested in old cars, I took a few snaps as below.

Thanks Old boy for that and I hope you had a lovely day. Friends of Pete used to travel to these ralleys with their Austin Riley. I think I have got it right. Jean.

Its smashing to see all these old cars again, most of them are kept in mint
condition, I think the owners give the cars more TLC than they give their
ladies! I was at my daughters over the Bank Holiday and they took me to the
Cheshire Classic Car rally, oh youshould have seen the cars there, I understand they
have a simular one at Ragley Hall, didnt see a Morris seriesE which was the car I had but there was two or three Austin Cambridges and the Oxford, damn good cars they were, my wife loved her ford capri she had two new ones
one after the other, O Happy Motoring days, hardly any traffic on the road.Quote; Money is better than poverty if only for financial reasons. Woody
