Hello everyone., I am investigating a brewer by the name of Thomas Smith 1816-1892. He died at Tyndale House but I cannot find any evidence about the place. Can anyone help

Narrowing it down a bit more

Assuming people dd not move Tyndale must be between 33 and 47 Highfield Road. I wonder if we can assume some of the houses still stand?

That's what I thought Mike.
I think it was a fairly ordinary largeish house called Tyndale. Rather than a large property in it's own grounds which is the image the name Tyndale House conjures up. So unlikely to be much about it.

I'm not sure how much help this will be but my mom and dad ran the Lea Hall Tavern from the late 40's. They took over from my grandparents . I belive the Tavern was a Smith and Butlers house and then it was just Butlers. Later it became Mitchell's and Butler and so on .... Maybe he was that 'Smith'.
