Tyler family Kitchener street

jewels

Brummie babby
Hello, bit of a long one, I am looking for information about my Grandad (William Henry) dad & mom, Albert Tyler born 1881, Edith Hilbert (don't know anything about her, got info from Gdads birth record)
So Herbert & Elizabeth Tyler (was Cutler) 1811 lived at Edward Street, 1901 59 Steward Street, 1911 35 Kitchener street. Herbert died in 1900 & Elizabeth then became a Bird (not sure of marriage) to William Bird.
Herbert & Elizabeth had children: Francis (married John Astley) had abot 10 children, Albert (grandads dad), William Henry (married Amilia Williams) had 4 children, Charles (m Ada Hodges), Alice May (m Charles Mullis), Thomas he married and had kids but not sure, Ruth (m Harry Farrington) had 3 children they continued to live in Kitchener street, Hilda Tyler.
I have a baptism record for my grandad, William Henry Tyler 1905 that also has baptism same day for his cousin Amila Tyler (William Henry & Amilias daughter) they are all living at 67 Perrott Street. My grandad was living at Kitchener st in the 1911 census.
I would be grateful for any information,if anyone knows what happened to Albert or Edith or even any relatives that might b here. Thank you in advance.

Slim pickings unfortunately. No marriage as you no doubt know.

A possible appearance for Edith on the 1901 census with birthplace listed as Hull but no corresponding birth so I wouldn't consider that a certainty. And Albert is possibly in Windsor on the 1921 census but can't be certain.

The Albert Tyler who is in Windsor in 1921 is still there in 1939 and his birth month corresponds with his birth reg. so still a possibility. He married a Florence Slaughter in 1916 and had one daughter.

If you know his dob you should be able to confirm or rule him out.

When Albert Tyler is living on Steward Street in 1901, there's an Edith Hilbert, b. 1883, Hull, Yorks., in the workhouse on Western Street, which looks to be just a couple of blocks away on the map. Edith is listed as a domestic servant and is the only Edith Hilbert I can find in Birmingham that year, so there could be a link there.

Hi, I did look at this Edith and when searching I put Hilbert and Tyler because on the baptism she is down as Albert & Edith Tyler. Very frustrating

Thank you for you help, much appreciated I have two possible Alberts in the London area but my Albert was born in October, the one I think was closest was born end September.

Thank you for helping, I think that is the Edith I saw on records but did not screenshot the information. I think it said " inmate" so was unsure if it was the workhouse infirmary. I don't know where I could find personal records, if any still exists. I have searched both Hilbert and Tyler as my grandad baptism was Tyler.
