Hi all can anyone help me find a marriage between George Twitty b.1865 & Mary Ann Nash b.1869, im not sure which part of Birmingham they are from, possibly Digbeth or Aston. Thanks.
Thanks Di we've just had a birth certificate come through for my great gran & we were waiting to see what her mothers maiden name was. It looks like Nash but i suppose that its likely to be Iles now, it does seem a bit scribbled ! Its as unusual as Twitty is so i'll def take note of that thanks.
Hi Laraine,
are these people in your family tree
Reginald Twitty married Helen(Nellie)Altimas probably late 1930s early 40s
she was from Belfast, believe he was a porter at East Birmingham Hospital.
sons Reg,Paddy,Roy and Kevin.
Alberta, there is a Reginald in my family tree he was the youngest of the Twitty's born in 1900 & brother of my great gran but unfortunately he died in WW1. There were 3 other brothers my great gran had, they were Charles, George & Thomas. Could Reginald you mention be a son of one of them ? Do you know the Twitty family or are you related at all ?
