TURNER, Millicent

elly

master brummie
Millicent Louise Turner appears in the Birmingham 1930 Electoral Register at 349 Harborne Road, living with a William John Arthur Turner.

She's listed at the same address in 1935- an Augusta Elizabeth Hart is also residing.

In 1947- I think she's living with Thomas & Ethel May Pearce (nee Turner) at 12 Holly Place Wright Street- she's listed under Louise Turner, but then in 1950 is listed as Millicent L Turner.

It's the Pearce family I'm following- but I would like to know who Millicent is. I can't seem to find anything and feel like I'm going round in circles. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Please note that I have changed the thread title to the recommended format (see sticky thread at the top of the Surnames/ Q-T forum).

This format lets members sort threads by surname within the forum, so it is easy to see if there are other threads relating to the same name/family.

Bewdley!!! That's fantastic- I couldn't find any marriage to fit, but you've got it. I now have a lead to work from.
Thankyou so much

Thanks again Bewdley- seems she had been married before, maiden name Heryet. I can now sleep tonight :02.47-tranquillity:

Hi elly - you may have the 1911 census for Millicent Heryet already, but if not.....

Thanks Bewdley & Alberta- After Bewdley's earlier post re the marriage I was able to speed ahead and I've spent an interesting day finding out all about Millicent and William, and previous husband John Dartnell. I have all the info I need on them for now- I may need some help with another family in a few days when I'm confused and tearing my hair out! but I'll put that as a seperate post.
Thankyou again- it's great to have your help.
