Tudor Street, Winson Green c1915-1922

I have two archive Birmingham Mail reports - both concerning a child (a boy) - likely the same child - who in the first instance fell into the Birmingham Canal aged 4 in August 1915 (and was rescued) . The second fell from a canal bridge onto the tow path below aged 13 in June 1922 (and was revived and taken to the General Hospital). Both boys were named Frederick Llewellyn and the one aged 4 in 1915 is spot on to the Frederick Llewellyn with family connections born May 1911 in Western Road Infirmary (later Dudley Road Hospital). The second report -a boy of the same name but shown aged 13 ( two years adrift as my Frederick would have been 11 of course) - is I am almost sure the same boy. I would like help in determining this from their given addresses.

That for the 4 -year old was 4 back Tudor Street, Winson Green (a street I can place in an old Ordnance Survey map (2nd Edition 1904) which is a stones throw from the Birmingham Canal. That of the boy in the second report - leaving aside the age difference for the moment - is 4 back of 22 Trinity Street, Winson Green.

As far as I can determine there was no Trinity Street in Winson Green (although I found one in Deritend) and besides I believe the coincidence of "4 back of" -[a] Tudor Street and Trinity Street convince me the second report just got the age and address wrong; or of course perhaps they were different Frederick Llewellyn's who both had a propensity for canal accidents?

I should also mention that the first report gave the names of the boys adoptive parents (who did indeed live in Tudor Street) whilst the second only reported the Trinity Street address. I know (my) older Frederick went to the Middlemore Emigration Home /School and may have resided there at the time of the second incident. The home was in the Highgate area (adjacent Deritend) so perhaps Trinity Street might be right and the '4 back of' just a coincidence. But I would still like to know if there was a Trinity Street within a stones throw of Tudor Street in Winson Green? Any help will be appreciated

I have posted before and am Brummie born although I have lived in Kent for many years and am now in my late 70's. Not too familiar with the Winson Green area although recall visiting an Aunt & Uncle there who lived within a stones throw of the prison.
