Does anyone remember the wonderful second hand book store at Cottridge where the Outer Circle Bus used to stop? Who owned it? I think they were in business until 1986

It was a wonderful place.

hi guys
yes i remember the book stall and the treasure trove two little shops combined together tiny little shops next to each other but they was both owned seperately
the books was an old gentle man and lady and the other the treasure trove was owned by a guy whom i think it was a mr lewis whom lived in cartland rd
the big houses on cartland rd and he lived next door to his mother
he moved from the place next to the book shop and went to a large property of a shop around and down on the pershore rd a couple of doors from the cotteridge social club
he was a very nice guy one would have imagined he as passed over now even thou at the time he was around the middle age of life astonion
 
Hello Dave, yes it was a treasure trove indeed, also the large lions and other statuary outside, I used to spend hours in there.
