Could someone please give me details of the marriage of Samuel Toy to Sarah Cookes, around May 1780, at St.Martins Birmingham. Could you let me know the names of their parents.
Many thanks
Bruce

Bruce the early record are just a list of dates and the names of couples who married there is no other information.

Bruce the actual marriage date of Sarah Cookes and Samuel Toy was 16th May and they were both of the parish. Maybe you could have a stab at a birth for them on the IGI work roughly on the ages at their marriage as 21.

Good Luck Wendy

Bruce Hello, I have Toy cousins, please PM with your details Cat:)

Bruce. I would give the same advise as Wendy in the first part or a trawl through baptism records just may light the way.

Hi Catkin, sorry for the long delay. My Toy ancestors are of interest to me as they are difficult to track. I cannot get beyond Samuel Toy & Sarah Cooke or her parents John Cooke & Mary Lowe. My email is bcroberts@pactec.net.
