Tom Sheldon, otherwise Tom the "Blind Man"

I am new to this so apologies if its in the wrong place completely.

I lived in Bucklands End from 1956 and my much loved dad was "Tom the Blind Man". He lost his sight before I was born and I wondered if there anyone out there who recalls him at all? The houses we lived in were all knocked down due to poor foundations.
