I attended here 1964 - 1970/ The Dawlish road buildings were the infant school, those on Tiverton road were the Junior school. There was a fenced alley down the side linking the 2 roads.

Angela, I've moved your post to this existing thread. The early history is in post #1. Former pupils may be able to help with the 1970s. It might help to be a bit more specific about what you'd like to know about the school.

I went to Tiverton road in 1959 to1961
The headmaster was Mr Gale, I think he is sitting in the middle on the front rowC in the photos above I also remember a teacher Mr Hewlitt
he sat at one of those high type desks at the front of the class. He used to take us for wood work and I remember I made a wooden castle with turrets.
Some Saturdays the caretaker used to show cowboy films on his super eight movie projector in the coke room, we all sat on long wooden benches.
I think we used to pay him a penny for a seat.
From memory the infants school was where we had our dinner. It cost 2/6 for 5 dinners per week, some children who could not afford to pay
used to get free tickets. I played Father Christmas one year in the school play.
