I am looking for help regarding William Perry aka THE TIPTON SLASHER. We have been trying to trace our family tree back to William to find out where he sits on our family tree. I believe we are related through marriage, and William married into the Broughton Family, my Great Great grandmother was a Broughton.
The link to William Perry would be the Names Adams and Broughton. My great gran had 22 children 11 of those with Richard Adams who also had 11 children from his first marriage. My great great gran Florence Broughton aftr she married R.Adams had children named Ray adams, May Adams, Doris Adams, arthur john edward adams, Thomas, Walter and harry and Charlie (chaz) who was 1 of the original adams' .
Richard adams hauled coal on the canals til he lost all his horses with red eye.
Grt Grt Gran Broughton had 3 sisters named Alice, Ada, Amy Broughton. Alice married James Adams son of Richard from his first marriage and also son of richard from first marriage was charles.
We know from my great grandad Arthur John Edward Adams that we are related to William Perry but as he is no longer with us we are finding it very difficult to place William with the right person on our family tree.
Any help anyone could give me would be very much appreciated. I was told to come here by someone on the tipton slashers forum page. Thank you for taking the time to read this and i hope someone can help me.
