I wondered if anything was written up following this event in 1983. Would have formed a useful resource for those researching the area.

well remember harvest festivals at school...although we were far from well off mom always managed to send us in with a couple of tins and some fruit or veg..the food would be boxed up in small boxes and placed in front of the stage in our assembly hall ready to distribute to the needy...mom always said there are people worse off than we were
