could someone help im looking for info regarding William james tibbitts who died around 1941 at Dudley road hospital I would like to know where he may be layed to rest also I was told my the family that he had a son called Harold w tibbitts born 1925 and died 1926 I would to know if this is right and where he may be layed to rest my family are getting to the age where they are getting mixed up kind regards
 
Harold W Tibbitts birth registered 1925 mothers maiden name Beasley , he died in September qtr 1926 age 1

The only Tibbitts / Beasley marriage that I can find is George Tibbitts to Dorothy A Beasley in Aston 1924
they had 3 other children.
Dorothy G in 1926 a, Ronald George in 1929.and Sheila M in 1938.I am presuming that Sheila is your Mother..

George Tibbitts died in 1941 Birmingham, and his wife Dorothy Alice died in 1980 in Walsall

I have looked for William James Tibbitts death 1940/41/42 but have found nothing.

this is possibly George in 1911

they had a daughter Alice Rosina in 1900 but she sadly died in 1908.

There is death registered in Bham 1943 for a William H Tibbitts, age 54.

And one in Wolverhampton 1944 for a William J Tibbitts, age 73.
 
Karen , further to my post post re. George Tibbitts,looking at past posts by you, you were given the information about George Tibbitts your grandfather in 2 previous threads, the Home Guard and the Tree of Life, so I am confused that you are seeking your grandfather William James Tibbitts. , could this be your Moms grandfather, your great grandfather.

thank you for your reply William james tibbitts was my moms grand dad im sorry for the confusion my mom was 2 when her dad died George so she never knew him or any of her grand parents her name was Sheila

Georges parents were William Tibbitts and Eliza Woolley, they married in 1888 but on index their names are incorrect (Tibitts and Wooley)
I can find no record of a William James Tibbitts spelt correctly or incorrectly at the time your great grandfather was born.
