Thorp Street Barracks - (H)ostlers

Does anyone have any information regarding Hoslers or Ostlers at Thorp Street? My grandfather was recruited as such during WW1, serving in France Belgium & Italy. He would visit the Barracks right up until the 1940's, perhaps in the TA?:)

An ostler looked after horses. I do not know anything particular about Thorpe Street Barracks.
