Hi
My great was discharged from Winson Green Asylum to the care of Aston Union Workhouse in 1891.
I have no record of him since then. Would anyone know which cemetery
would likely be in charge of the inmates at Aston Union?

Well I contacted Birmingham Library and was told that the Aston Union Workhouse did not have a cemetery of their own but the closest and most
likely place for burials was Witton Cemetery. I contacted them and they have manual files of 500,000 burials so will not do a search without exact date of deaths. Now I must find someone who will go to the Birmingham Library and
check Witton cemetery for me year by year from 1891 to 1901. Any volunteers? from Canada
