DYAS FAMILY

I HAVE A THOMAS DYAS BORN 1854 IN BIRMINGHAM WHO MARRIED MARY DAWE BORN 1857 IN HEREFORD BUT I CANT FIND WHEN OR WHERE THIS TOOK PLACE.

THOMAS'S FATHER WAS ALSO CALLED THOMAS DYAS BORN 1828 IN BIRMINGHAM HE MARRIED ELEANOR GREEN BORN 1826 IN SHREWSBURY. I HAVE THIS CERTIFICATE, THEY MARRIED IN 1852 IN THE PARISH CHURCH - PARISH OF ALL SAINTS BIRMINGHAM. I DON'T KNOW WHICH CHURCH THIS IS OR IF ANY OF YOU KIND SOULS HAS A PHOTO OF IT. IT ALSO SAYS HE LIVED AT KEY HILL, I DON'T KNOW WHERE THAT IS, ANY HELP ON THAT WOULD BE VERY GREATFULLY RECIEVED. IT SAYS HIS FATHER WAS ALSO CALLED THOMAS DYAS BUT I HAVE NO OTHER INFORMATION YET TO GO ON OTHER THAN HE TOO WAS A BRASS FOUNDER. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS OF A FACTORY OR COMPANY THAT USED BRASS FOUNDERS AS SEVERAL FAMILY MEMBERS ARE LISTED AS ONE.
ANY INFORMATION ABOUT ANY DYAS FAMILIES LIVING IN BIRMINGHAM 1800 TO 1900'S WOULD BE GREAT.
I'M RELATIVELY NEW TO THIS SO SORRY IF I'M ASKING TOO MUCH I'M JUST FASCINATED AND FRUSTRATED AND WANT TO KNOW MORE.(NOT JUST ABOUT MY FAMILY I READ EVERYONE ELSES TOO)

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

refer to Cromwells resize John H

Hi Gizmo,

Thomas Dyas married Mary Daws (spelt with an s- maybe a mistranscription) in:-
1876
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
District: Birmingham (1837-1924)
County: Warwickshire
Ref: Volume: 6d Page: 1

Hope this helps.
