Thomas Butler - tailor Dudley Rd

netti

proper brummie kid
I have Thomas Butler at 451 Dudley Rd, Rotton Park in both 1901 census & Kellys 1901. He was a tailor. I would like to know how long he remained at this address if possible - I can't yet find him in 1911.

Thanks if you can help

hi
if my memory serves me correctly this tailor,s shop was about six doors away from summerfield park dudley rd and it wasone time the
boundry line for rotton park area
and he was a very high class tailor indeed
it was very rarely i ever seen anybody go in this shop
because as i have said he was an high class tailor
with only the best materials made to measure suits that he only
done i beleive this shop was there until the early fifties ,
he had a two door step up into his shop and he was a little fellow
in statue;
have a nice day every-body .astonian ;;;

Good Morning Astonian

How amazing that you can remember the actual shop! Thank you so much for the memory. I have very little information about this man so you have given me some great leads - including narrowing down his death.

Thank you so much.
