The Woodman - Cattell's Grove Nechells

I am posting this for Pete who asked about this place. It is not a pub that I have done any work on. This image is from 1965 and, as can be seen, it was a M&B house by then. However, the livery of Butler's remained on the building - this means that it sold beers from Wolverhampton in the 1950s. For some reason my folder for this pub does not include the licence register. I have post-war licensing records of almost every pub in Birmingham but this one seems to be missing.Woodman.jpg
