The vision
She came, as if gliding on the ether.
White, like a sea mist.
Her scent gave warning of her approach
And brought the man to standing.
The soft whisper of her bridle gown,
The childish giggle of cherubim
Heralded her arrival at his side.
With lifted veil, he saw the heavens
In her eyes
And her lips spoke unspoken words.
