Worked just feet away from the Viaduct pub in Lawley St, T Baumber Motor engineers. One of the Mechanics used to spend most of his time away from work in the pub, love to know what happened to him.

When did you work at T. Baumber. I remember len, Tommy Snr, Tommy Jnr, Ron Misselbrook, Harry? This would have been in the 70'2/80/s

Started in 68 and worked at the garage for two weeks before moving to Esso Bromford lane on permanent nights. Left Esso/Baumbers after twelve months for Shell Kingsbury. Used to call in weekly for my wages but have to be honest and say the working conditions at Esso were a little better than the garage :). Eric used to cover all the Esso breakdowns so was a regular at Bromford and Tommy snr was usually in the office when I collected my wages.
