The Universal Grand Opera Company were a touring company way back in the 1930's.

From what i can gather they ceased to exist at the outbreak of World War 2.

Has anyone ever head of this company, or possibly have any further details about them?

many thanks
Neville..

Don't know if you have this, but Lewisham archives have two of their handbills;
Handbill for Universal Grand Opera Company repertoire A99/14/120 3 Oct. 1938
Handbill for Universal Grand Opera Company repertoire A99/14/123 13 Feb. 1939

and their is a copy of a program of theirs at the gaiety thaeatre at https://www.concertprogrammes.org.uk/html/search/verb/GetRecord/3345
Swansea city archives have:
<D 50/25> Swansea Empire Theatre. J.W.Lomax Limited. presents the Universal Grand Opera Company in Faust, 27 February, 1939
[1 item]

None of these are online, so you would have to visit or contact them
