Hi Angeleyes, I remember it well I was Born in the house next to the railway No 69,
in 1935 lived there until 1958, But i used the Railway club in those days,

My Grandparents Fred and Lil Cross ran the Midland Tavern Erskine street Vauxhall 1952-1958. approx they and had 2 daughters Diane and Barbara.

Can you tell me how old Barbara and Diane would have been then, I would have been 18 in 1952 and my mom told me much later that one of the daughters fanced me,Fred use to hose down the front of the pub most Sundays inthe sumer,

That would have been my Aunt Barb she was born in 1939. My Mom remembers your name and is 5 yrs younger that Aunt Barb.

Your right about Granddad cleaning the front of the pub down :)
