The Lamp Lighter Summer La ?

I think thats what it was called , I remember it being new sort of pub , I think i went in there
around early 80s , is it still there ? any other history of when and was will be appreiciated .

many thanks for giving us the picture of the redelvoped lamplighter
i can recal it being abit of a shack made of wood
i presume that was done in the eightys rebuilt and extended it looks very smart there
is the old nick still across the rd there ,
that particula place has history in more ways than none in its years of being built
especialy in the very early years it could give some storys
giving the history of the old summer lane way backearly 1900,s
they would rather gone to digbeth or the lane rather go there ,the old lags of yester year and the spivs
rather going into that nick .as you may know or leart summer lane was full of alsorts of people
and it was a tough quarter eqiverlent to the east end of london

hi ragga..you may be dissapointed with the lamp...its no longer a pub...its been turned into some sort of reglious meeting place...

Thank you for the update Astoness , that pub i nearly forgot about and ive wondered in recent week is that pub still going
but like they say nothing surprises me anymore , it looks rack to ruins in the piccy lloyd put up .

well that makles a change to hear that its usaly a eating house by indianor chinese
well at least its lift the spirits of the community
as it was a notorius breeding gtound for crime and for buyingguns and stolen property
but theres always gonna be a crimmal activity around inbrum as else where
