Anyone know about the Hope and Anchor at 13, Charlotte Street? My Great, great grandmother Ann Stinton worked there as a servant when she was 18 years old under a George Draycott (born circa. 1850).
The information is on the 1901 census although the pub is not mentioned specifically on this, it is listed in Kelly's Directories 1902-03.
A photograph, map or any other info would be great!
Not sure if this helps but found this re Hope & Anchor on Caroline St. Hope this helps.
