Does anyone one of you remember a Butcher called Bill Wickett, I am quite sure his shop was in the Erdington area , I use to know Bill also
known as Ticker when he was working for Walter Smiths Butchers on
the Flat in Lodge Road Hockley.

I think it was Gravelly Lane Erdington bottom of Somerset Road

I met Bill after he retired, he was working delivering flowers
for a shop in Hawthorn Rd, but this was only temporary I understand.
His brother kept the shop going for a while, but he ended up working
for another butchers, less pressure and strain.
