Do you mean the Castle & Falcon opposite the top of Vincent Street, I used it quite regulary in the mid sixties, too young in the fifties. Can't remember the name of the barman in those days. There was a very good chip shop a couple of doors away and that was run by a family called Bird and the father was a little stocky fellow.

Muckers, [ Our Mates ] And If ld Harppy Was Wotking A Shift , It Was A Very Active Pub , Don,t You Think So , Then It Went Like Thether Pubs Trade Dwindled And Finaly Closed Down , And Then Liam Came Along And Took The Lease On It And Got It Up And Running Again , [ Liam Being Occonnor ] Phil Is It Still Open Do You Know ?.
