Did anyone see last nights programe of the schools??

I was horrified to see that Cockshut Hill school had a policeman walking the school!!!!!! He had been working there for 3yrs.

What on earth is life coming too?

I remember looking for a friends dog in the school field and a Policeman telling us to clear off............I didn't dare tell my Mother about it and nearly died of fright when the said policeman walked passed our house in Duncroft Road. We hadn't been doing anything wrong but the fact that a policeman HAD told us off terrified us. Would that happen today?

Rowan Pete watches law and order and generally the youth and young children today have no respect for the police and have no fear either . Our two local schools do not tolerate this sort of behaveiour and Perry Beeches was voted the most improved school in the country.
 
Was an article in the Evening Mail a while ago where by they had installed metal detectors, like the ones at airports, at Cockshut Hill.
