Anyone recall this place it was om right hand side of the Odeon Picture house cira early 70s
you went down some stairs to it
The decore on the walls was American Civil War battles it served the best burger i ever tasted and i have been to the US
They only played Dixie not the Gary Owen if you get my meaning lol
 
That was after I left for the US. The pancakes here are much different thank in the UK which are more like crepes, unfortunately I love both of them. In Tennessee we also a grits based corn cake that looks like a small pancake.
The best pancakes are my wife’s, she add fresh apples sauce or crushed apples to the batter, delicious! Oh and sometimes adds chocolate chips!
Wow, it’s 5.20am here and now I am very hungry :cool:.

Wendy’s are good but we have a couple of local places who have wonderful burgers with extra crispy chip (fries). However, my grandchildren think Grandpa makes the best burgers! I work very hard at developing my grilling and smoking skills :), but grandchildren are always hungry!
