Would anyone be able to help with any info on Thomas Taylor who married Sarah Stringer 24 December 1808 at St Phillips. Thanks in advance

I have searched for both named on https://pilot.familysearch.org and can find no such marriage on that date. Pilot is the attempt to "Clean Up" the IGI of familysearch.org. You will note that the entry that you quote warns that " submitted by a member of the LDS Church" which usually means someone has guessed. At any rate it should be treated as highly suspicious until corroborated ie if it says "Extracted marriage record for locality listed in the record".

I have had a quick look on Ancestry but can see nothing obvious - do you have any other info eg BMD, Census, etc?

Aidain, thanks for your help. I was given this info by Solihull Heritage. They did tell me to go to Birmingham library or local offices of Olton or Hobsmoat. Unfortunately, as I live and work in Stourport its not easy for me to get to there, thats the reason I posted on here I knew someone would help. The only other info is his son Abel who was born April 1809, which would have made Sarah pregnant at the time. Abel was born in Yardley and married Ann (born Long Compton) and they lived Bickenhill and he worked as a malster. Following on from Abel on my side was George born 1842 who worked and lived in Birmingham eventually having a shop at 2 Lichfield Road Aston. Again may thanks it obviously does need confirming. Hopefully, perhaps someone else may have some info. Regards.
