Does any one have any information on the above. I understand Mary Ann and John Edward married C1909 but I am unable to find Mary Ann,s father Mother and when and where she died. I know John Edward was killed in WW1. Also Daniel Taylor C 1865 I am unable to find his marraige or father . I understand he was also in the boer war. Is anyone able to help. John and Mary were living at 42, Two Gates, Colley Gate Cradley when they married in 1909.

i expect you have the marriage details

john edward taylor and mary ann hodgkiss 1909 apr-jun stourbridge

6c 277

if you send for this certificate it will give the names of fathers and occupations.

both names are quite common so it is difficult to pinpoint the correct ones on the 1901 census.

Sorry to say, it's the same on the 1891 Census. There is a birth registration but it is only a might be --

Mary Ann Hodgkiss 4th qtr 1889 Wolverhampton 6b 603

Play safe and get that cert as Shera says
