Hello All, Ive hit a brick wall! Floss TAYLOR wife of Harry William Howard GAMESON, i cant find anything on her or her parents, not sure if Floss was just a nic name. Anyone able to help, would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Daz

i think the only sure way of finding more about floss taylor is to purchase the marriage certificate, which would give her fathers name and occupation.

the marriage details for ordering the certificate are - harry w. h. gameson to florence taylor, 1913 jul-sep aston 6d 952

i looked for a death of florence gameson to try to find florences birth date. there are a few of them but the two most likely

florence gameson who died 1969 in nottingham aged 79yrs so that would put her birth date at 1890

and florence kate gameson who died 1976 in wolverhampton with birth year of 1886.

there are others a bit further afield as well.

Hi , I'm john Gameson
I'm pretty sure there are my grandparents
My father was Howard gameson
His sister was Mary who became Myres and emigrated to Australia
My dad had an elder brother called Harry
And cousins called Taylor
He grew up in Small heath
