tan yard labourer

In 1891 my great grandfather was a tan yard labourer. He lived in Lower Mitton, Kidderminster which I believe later became part of Stourport. Does anyone have any ideas about where he may have worked? I had no idea there was any kind of tanning industry in this area.

The 1884 Kelly's gives a Charles W.Withall at Orchard street, Kidderminster, but there is also Henry H. Beakbane at Stourport (no address) , J Titton Cook at Hartlebury and Samuel Price, 20 Severnside, Bewdley. In fact Lower Mitton is outside Kidderminstwer town ( https://privatewww.essex.ac.uk/~alan/family/G-LowerMitton.html ) and includes Stourport. The attached map of stourport of 1888 clearly shows the tannery (though other features are not so clear). The bridge just below the tannery is shown on modern maps (google) as lower mitton bridge.
Hope this is helpful
