Sun Cycle & Fitting, Aston

Aidan

master brummie
Early days in my research, but given that my gt-grandmother, Hilda Mary Surman, gives occupation as "brass foundry warehouse woman" in 1901C (with siblings in other cycle related occupations) and "press-worker in cycle trade" in 1911C, then an initial browse of https://madeinbirmingham.org/motorcycle.htm (from earlier threads) throws up Sun Cycle & Fittings Co. Ltd., Phoenix Works, Aston Brook Street as a leading contender for where she and her siblings may have worked (her addresses were Moland & Legge Street).

I would be grateful for a double-check on the company's location in 1901 & 1911 or thereabouts and any pictures of the works and products of the time would also be greatly appreciated.
