I would be interested in anyone with any knowledge of the stone family who were mainly in the Walsall area. Most were involved in the saddlemaking industry.
john 1801; john 1833; henry 1845 m. mary ann russell; harry 1871 m. mary ann lawton; george albert 1900 (father).
I am particularly interested in details of John b. 1801
All except my father were involved in the saddle making.
My G,Grandmother was a servant (13) in 1881 census working for a family of Tailors called Richard and Fanney E Stone they had 5 children Frederick, Francis, Jane, Henry E and Claude F and lived at 31 western street Duddeston. Could these Stones have anything to do with the ones you seek. This henry was then 2 i think. Her name was Sarah Tonks B 1854.

Thanks for that Brummie, but I do not recognise any of those names, although they could be relations from a distance. I have yey to investigate all the siblings in any depth. Living in Kent makes it difficult to travel to Walsall.
