Stokes in Rookery Rd., Handsworth.

My grandmother owned two shops in Rookery Rd. around the 1930's. I've got a picture of her and my late aunt outside them, but as my father didn't keep in touch with any of his family, I don't know much more. Does anyone rember the shops? My father's name was George Thomas Stokes. Thanks.
