In 1965 as per the electoral roll Elsie and John Jones ran the Stirrup Cup pub. They are my great aunt and uncle. My dad Barry Collett knows very little about them other than that they were publicans. Think they also ran the Speedwell at some pint although I don't know where that was or is? Does anyone remember John and Elsie? I know Elsie left him and he ran pubs with someone called Donna, but that's as much I we know.
