i am trying to trace some record of a william stevens whom i beleive his mother was a elisabeth stevens
and was born in george rd erdington b24; wat i really am after is whom was his father
i beleive he was born in 1922; and if possible where did the father come from

1935 - 179 George Road, Erdington - William, Elizabeth & Florence Stevens (of course William junior wouldn't be on the roll until approx 1945 if he was born 1922)
1939 - 179 George Road, Erdington - William, Elizabeth & Joseph Stevens

Now here's a coincidence My paternal Grandparents were at 179 George Road from 1945, they must have moved in after the Stevens. Of course this might not be the Stevens you are looking for though.

that is spooky i would say but oh yes that a to be the only stevens in george rd surely junior was most definately born in 22
and florence was there oldest daughter ; whom died about three years ago and she was his oldest sister ;
that is one big coinicenced sue ; well suz it the most certain one i am looking for william stevens junior ; but can you say any think about the fathers occupation ; or where he is from ; ?. or may be when the father was born ; i hope you do not mind me asking you the questions

just a brief i only notice at the last minute about a jospeh ; so that would have been an older brother then ;
if you cannot trace the fathers image ; what about the motheris it possibl toknow her maiden name then please not to worry if you cannot getthose details as you have found out the adress ; thanks again suze alan astonian;;

Alan, the mothers maiden name of William b. 1922 is Young but I can find no Stevens/Young marriage.

Good morning alberta ;
many thanks for your valuable time in looking into this ;i am very intrigue further on this matter regarding
what you have found ; and i honestly do not know what to think or say ;its definately the right stevens because as suze as said
florence was his older sister ; and there was a rumor some years back that him and jospeh was half brothers so know i have to try and find
the link between young ; and elisebeth having the child was he adopted do you think; ?. if there was no marrige beteen stevens and young ; could stevens have lived with another person before setting up with elisebeth and it was his child ; that being the senior william ;
and moved in and married elisebeth with young william ;
i have to think about this long and hard and where do i stand as to regarding finding the young connections ?.
i do know of a simula situation with his step sister as i have recently learnt from some one [ i call her now step sister as he was not
her husband,s son . being mr stevens senior [ son ] that florence addopted a baby boy from a bar maid as they was called
but politicaly its a bar person ; from a young lady whom was single and worked at the old crown and cushin ; at pery barr
as she was a single person and could not keep him so floss adoptd him and gave him her married name
this young lad grew up to be a shakespear actor and lives in cornwall now ;and as done so for many years ; floss died about three years ago now
so i am thinking did elisebeth done the same ; or what ;?.

it would be very appreciated if you could suggest a staring line ;for me as to where to begin with possible young but what do i look for ; the

Alan are you positive that William was born in 1922.
There is a William born 1915
his brothers and sisters were
Florence 1912
Joseph 1917
Arthur 1920
Edith 1923 all the children of William Stevens and Elizabth Jennings.

and i just caught you ; fantastic ; the people you have named on this latest list appears to be correct all but one and that is arther
i always thought there was named albert but the rest of them sound correct so it seems that the mothers name is jenning ;
and not young as first said ; thank you alberta; can you tell if any of them ;that being the parents had been married before
