I am looking for any family members of the Stevens mob.
William Henry Stevens married Catherine or Katherine Low 1883. The family went to Nova Scotia in 1888 but returned to Birmingham in 1898 and are mention in the 1901 Census as William Catherine and their children Catherine, Arthur, Mildred and Florence. 1911 Census they are all living as a family Hillsborough, Sheffield. I may have found Arthur marrying Martha Ann Bilsbury but I come to a dead end following Arthur. I would love to be in touch with some family members.
Williams brother Charles and his wife Caroline came to Australia 1883, their only daughter Edith Gardiner died early in life and her only son died at the age of 10. I am still working on family members here in Australia as they had 3 sons Charles, William Henry and Sydney.
My main reason for trying to follow through in the UK is that so far here in Australia I have been unable to dig out any old photos from the 1800's. I was hoping a family member might see this and respond. I would love a photo of Charles (came to Australia) he was a police officer in Birmingham 1880/1883 and was wondering if a photograph would have been taken of him.
