Hi all, I am new at this. I am after any additional information on the marriage of my great great grandparents - Edward Stanton and Catherine Hawkeshead - who were married 13 July 1840 at St Martins, Birmingham.

the marriage was between edward stanton and catherine HAWKESFORD

13 july 1840

edward stanton of full age bachelor labourer cheapside father john stanton labourer

catherine hawkesford of full age spinster servant cheapside father william hawkesford tailor

both edward and catherine signed their names (unusual)

witnesses robert powell and robert wall
 
Edward Stanton / Catharine(sic) Hawkesford marriage 3rd quarter 1840 Birmingham volume 16 page 295 (if you want the certificate).
