St Martins marriage look up for 1825

BordesleyExile

According to the the IGI George Milner married Ann Partridge 27.12.1825 at St Martins, Birmingham, but is there any further information on that record? Even witness names would be appreciated.
Details on George & Ann are scant, even with what I can glean from subsequent census records which include Ann. George had certainly died by 1850.

Hi BoardesleyExile the extra info is Ann Partridge is a widow on the marriage certificate. The witnesses were John and Martin Beaumont. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much, Wendy. This explains a lot. I had wondered why Ann Partridge was of such mature years at the time of her marriage to George. There are quite a few Partridges living in West Bromwich in 1841, but by looking for Beaumonts and Milners in Aston etc I may be able to get some idea where the families were based. You have provided information that I may well be able to build on. Your kindness is very much appreciated.

No problem, by the way my married name is Partridge although not connected to the ones in West Bromwich. There is a section in West Bromwich cemetery with several Partridge graves.

Thats interesting that you married a Partridge, Wendy. I noticed last night that there were also Aston & Bordesley Partridges and wondered if Ann Partridge was linked by by marriage or social circle with any of the West Bromwich or Bordesley publicans as both her sons became involved in that type of business, though I will never know.
Progress was only possible by chipping at small pieces of information and I am very appreciative of your kindness in providing the information yesterday.

You could try contacting the cemetery. West Bromwich now comes under Sandwell.
