St Martins birth and marriage

Could you possibly look for me at some time to see if Benjamin Jefcoate was baptised at St Martin's, please, and also if he married there. He married an Elizabeth something-or-other. Their first child was born around 1791 (or the first child I can find anyway), but the IGI shows nothing previous to that. TIA

hello shortie, the only one i can find at st. martins is sarah jefcoat daughter of benjamin and elizabeth jefcoat baptised 13th sep 1784. i cant see a marriage but the records are very difficult to read and some are illegible so they could well have got married there but the record cant be transcribed. as you can see the spellings can change a lot too. sorry i couldnt help more.

Hello Shera, thank you very much, this is a great help. The other three children of Benjamin and Elizabeth were baptised at Paradise Street Dissenters' Chapel - 1891 and onwards. At least I have another to add to the clan. I suppose the BT's now are my only hope. Thanks again.
