I have found two entries on the IGI submitted by a member but am dubious. Could some kind person please verify them for me.

Hannah Smith birth 1 Sept 1824 Bap 7 April 1828 St Martin's
Henry Smith birth 1 Sept 1824 Bap 7 April 1828 St. Martin's

Maybe twins!

If the entries are correct the parents should be John Smith and Hannah Fisher. John was a Silversmith. Both of Birmingham.

Thanks - Paul.

hello paul, ive looked through all the baptisms on 7th april 1828 and for some reason there were loads that day, but no sign of the ones you mentioned.

looked on igi and couldnt see them on there either

are you sure you have the correct dates? :)

thats very interesting dib. i wondered why there were pages and pages of baptisms on that day :) thanks

Thanks for the reply. I just looked the entries up on the IGI and they are definately there. I usually treat any IGI member submitted info as a guide. I wonder if the person who entered the info mixed the churches up. According to the entry on the IGI John and Hannah also baptised their sons John and Thomas on this day as well.

hi paul, yes i can see them on igi now. i didnt put in the parents names so nothing came up.

have searched the st martins baptisms page by page for 7 apr 1828 and there is no john and hannah smith. :(
